Why Roam Hanks Consultancy Exists
Roam Hanks Consultancy was born from a simple but frustrating observation: too many genuinely exceptional founders were failing to raise — not because their businesses weren't good enough, but because they didn't know how to present them to investors, didn't have the right documentation, and had no route into the rooms where capital decisions are made.
The traditional fundraising world is opaque, relationship-gated, and slow. Advisors charge large retainers for introductions that rarely land. Founders are left with generic pitch templates and cold email lists. The system doesn't work for founders who didn't go to the right school or don't already know the right people.
RHC was built to fix that. We created a private investor network from scratch — curating relationships with angels, VCs, syndicates, and institutional partners who are actively looking for deal flow. We built an operational process that takes a founder from 'not ready' to investor-ready in days. And we structured ourselves around outcomes, not hours.
Founded in the UK with a single client and a clear hypothesis: that founders with strong businesses but weak investor packaging were being left behind by a system built on privilege and access. RHC set out to change that.
